Pet transport companies in other cities

We are looking for pet transport companies and careful independent drivers in Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax, Regina, Saskatoon, St. John's, Montreal, Ottawa, Kelowna, Victoria, Quebec City, Thunder Bay, Charlottetown, Deer Lake and Fort McMurray who can:

• Collect a pet from the airline's cargo office (Air Canada Cargo or WestJet Cargo) after a flight from Toronto
• Deliver the pet to the owner's new home in the city and nearby towns
• For pets flying to Toronto, pick up pets at home and check them in at airport cargo with the paperwork
• Keep us and the owner posted at each step

Timing matters. Both airlines move pets to a kennel if nobody collects them within 4 hours of landing, so we need partners who are reliable on the day and can work early mornings, evenings and weekends when flights land.

Vet clinics in Toronto

Many of our customers use their own vet. Some do not have one, or are new to the city. We are building a short list of Toronto and GTA clinics we can suggest for the travel health certificate (often called a fit to fly certificate).

Air Canada Cargo needs a vet health certificate for every pet, dated no more than 30 days before travel. WestJet Cargo needs one for some pets, and it is valid for 10 days. So the clinics that help most can:

• Book a travel health check within a few days
• Take new patients
• Complete the health certificate, using the airline's form where it has one, and send records by email
• Quote a clear fee for the visit and the certificate

Clinics near Pearson or in central Toronto are especially useful, since our drivers bring pets to you on the way to the airport.
