Pets only, door to door

    Get your price in the form and book the ride. We confirm the pickup time with you.

    Our driver collects your pet at your door. Hand over the leash, the carrier, and any notes for the vet or groomer.

    Your pet rides alone with the driver, the shortest way there. We send you a message when they arrive.

    Home again

    On a return ride or vet visit, we bring your pet back to your door.

How your pet rides

Pets only in our vehicles. Owners do not ride along, so we can focus on your pet. Cats and small pets ride in a carrier. Dogs can ride in a crate, or loose in the back if they are calm in a car. If you do not have a carrier or crate, we can bring one.

Tell us anything we should know when you book: a dog that pulls on the leash, a cat that hides, a pet that gets car sick. If your pet needs help getting into a crate, add that when you book.

Prices

How pet taxi prices work

Every ride is priced on the real driving distance for your trip. The form measures it and shows your exact price.

What the price depends on

  • Distance. The driving route between the two addresses, avoiding the 407. Drive time is shown in the form but not charged.
  • Type of ride. One-way, or return with both legs counted.
  • Vet visits. A return ride plus a waiting package of 45, 60 or 90 minutes. If the appointment runs longer, extra time is billed in 15 minute blocks after the trip.
  • Pearson airport. A one-way ride plus 60 minutes at the airport, for a cargo check-in, an arrival pickup or help at the terminal when you fly with your pet.
  • When. Weekday daytime rides cost the least.

Extras you can add

  • Driver stays in the exam room at the vet (you join by phone)
  • Help getting your pet into a crate or on a leash
  • Borrowing one of our crates for the ride

How to get your price: fill in the form above. For rides under 60 km with one end in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham or Richmond Hill, you see your price on screen right after you enter your contact details, and we email you a copy. For other rides we send it within 24 hours.

Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup and there is no charge. Between 2 and 24 hours before, half the fare. Less than 2 hours before, or nobody home when we arrive, the full fare. How our pricing works.

Any ride under 60 km with at least one end in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham or Richmond Hill. That covers all of Toronto, including Downtown, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York, York, Midtown, The Beaches, Leslieville and High Park.

Custom quote

We also go to Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Caledon, King, Aurora, Newmarket, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. Rides there, and any trip over 60 km, get a custom quote. Put the addresses in the form and we reply with a price.

What is a pet taxi?
A ride for your pet without you. We pick up your dog or cat at home, drive them to the vet, groomer, daycare or airport, and bring them back if you need a return trip. It helps when you are at work, do not drive, or your pet is too big for a regular cab.
How much is a pet taxi in Toronto?
It depends on the driving distance, the type of ride (one-way, return, vet visit or airport) and the time. Enter the addresses and the time in our quote form. For rides under 60 km in Toronto and nearby cities, your exact price shows on screen right after you enter your contact details, and we email you a copy.
Can I ride with my pet?
No. Pets only in our vehicles. If you need to be at the vet, you can join by phone, or meet us there. If you are flying with your pet, we meet you at the Pearson terminal.
Does my pet have to be in a crate?
No. Cats and small pets ride in a carrier. Dogs can ride in a crate, or loose in the back if they are calm in a car. If you do not have a carrier or crate, you can borrow one of ours for the ride.
Is a pet friendly taxi the same thing?
Not quite. A pet friendly taxi or rideshare takes you and your pet together, if the driver agrees. A pet taxi takes your pet on its own, so you do not have to be there. We only carry pets, never owners.
Do you transport birds or reptiles?
Birds, reptiles and other pets that need careful temperature control get a custom quote. Tell us about your pet in the quote form or contact us.
