Drivers wanted
Drive with us
We are looking for careful, pet-loving drivers in Toronto and the GTA who have their own vehicle. If you are calm with animals, on time, and good at keeping people posted, we would like to hear from you.

What the work is
You drive pets, not people. Owners never ride along, so the pet is your only passenger and your whole job on the trip. Most trips are one of these:
- Local rides: taking dogs and cats to the vet, the groomer or daycare, and back home. Sometimes you wait at the vet, and sometimes you stay in the exam room while the owner joins by phone.
- Air move pickups: collecting a pet at home and driving them to the airline's cargo building at Pearson, then checking them in with the paperwork.
- Arrivals: collecting a pet at Pearson cargo after their flight and bringing them to their new home in Toronto or the GTA.
- Road trips: driving a pet door to door to a city within a day's drive, like Ottawa, Montreal or Windsor.
On the ground, pets ride in a carrier, in a crate, or loose, depending on the pet. For air moves, the pet is already in an airline crate, and you need to be able to lift and secure it safely in your vehicle. Some crates are large and heavy.
You keep the owner and our team posted at each step: on the way, picked up, checked in, delivered.
Where
Toronto and the GTA: Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, and further out to places like Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Caledon, King and Aurora. Pearson cargo is in Mississauga, so drivers close to the airport are especially useful. We also drive pets to cities within a day's drive, like Ottawa, Montreal and Windsor. We do not do cross-country driving.
What we look for
- A valid Ontario driver's licence and a clean driving record
- A reliable, clean vehicle with room for a pet carrier or an airline crate
- Insurance that covers this kind of work. We will talk about insurance with you.
- Real comfort with dogs and cats, including nervous ones
- Patience at the airport: cargo check-in can take time
- A smartphone, and the habit of answering messages
- Availability that fits early mornings, evenings or weekends is a plus, since flights do not keep office hours
You do not need to be a professional pet handler. What matters more is being calm, careful and reliable.
